 DILUTE GENE TESTING SESSION  
at Midland Counties Labrador Club Champ Show April (further dates to be announced) there will be a  
D Locus - Dilute gene testing session run by the Labrador Breed Council’s Dilute subcommittee  
Please bring your dogs and their registration document -- £25 per dog   

The Kennel Club have now opened a register for the Labradors testing clear of the dilute https://www.thekennelclub.org.uk/breed-standards/coat-colour-dna-tests/coat-colour-dna-test-dilute-d1-variant/ 

We also have our own Breed Council register www.purebredlabrador.net  
 
This is your chance to have your non-dilute pure-bred Labradors tested and clear for all to see now and in the future – so that when you want a stud dog or a guaranteed dilute free bloodline you will find the clear Labradors in the KC Dilute Clear Register as well as the Breed Council Register. 
 
There are now over 8,500 dilute dogs KC registered as LABRADOR RETRIEVERS - these dogs have the dilute gene brought in by a Weimaraner cross several years ago. 
OUR PURE-BRED Labradors do not have and never have had the dilute gene.

This gentleman,( my lovely husband!) who doesn't do FB, is definitely not a high profile person, hardly shows, but he certainly did the business at Blackpool with his puppy Rocheby Havana (I was elsewhere, as usual) Charlotte made a short video and he and the puppy just never put a foot wrong, so here he is with the group Judge Jill Peak having won the puppy group.

gained his 2nd CC (along with 2 RCCs) at the Cotswold & Wyevern Labrador Retriever Club under judge Judith Charlton (Foxrush).

What a fantastic day for the Rocheby kennel at Crufts today! SH CH ROCHEBY SWEET SENSATION,

who won the Reserve CC at last year's Crufts, went all the way and won the CC out of 298 bitches!!
And CC & BOB winning dog SH CH TISSALIAN HI JACK is by SH CH ROCHEBY HORN BLOWER. On the picture,
Marion and David are accompanied by bitch judge Shaun Williamson and grand daughter Charlotte Rowe who was helping out running in the ring since
Marion is still recovering from a recent hip operation.
